# The Need

Charlotte's recovery landscape has critical gaps that keep people from getting the help they need. Resources exist, but systemic barriers, confusion, and stigma prevent timely, effective support.

## Problems Identified

### Resource Navigation

- • People in need often do not know where to begin
- • Services are often fragmented and difficult to navigate
- • No clear pathway for help often means delayed intervention and missed opportunities for recovery

### Family Support Gaps

- • Families lack tools and guidance to support loved ones
- • Few family-focused programs and educational opportunities
- • Many feel unprepared and unsure how to maintain healthy boundaries

### Education Deficit

- • Charlotte's leaders and organizations are eager to support recovery efforts, and ongoing access to evolving training and resources can further strengthen their impact
- • Continued education and practical tools help empower the community to contribute even more effectively to recovery initiatives

### The Impact

These challenges lead to prolonged suffering, higher risk, family strain, and a community unprepared to meet the needs of those seeking recovery.

## Our Solutions

We've developed comprehensive programs to directly address each of these critical gaps in Charlotte's recovery landscape.

[

### Resource Navigation

Our resource navigation program connects community members with essential services, including treatment options, support groups, counseling and community resources. We provide personalized guidance to help people access the right resources and build sustainable recovery pathways.
